Shergar? What did he do? Always struck me as a bit dimwitted but not malicious. More biased than most and not the sharpest spoon in the drawer, but not the worst. He's no Matth, Custard, or Christian.
Our "pet" possum showed up again yesterday to sleep on our deck. Noticed had badly injured leg and was breathing heavily. We haven't seen it in months before yesterday. This morning looked outside and noticed it was dead. (Either that or it was really good at playing possum) Was half expecting that though because he didn't leave to go eat when it got dark. That's the time he should have been going to feed. It came home to us to say it's final goodbye.
We haven't fed it in a long time so it has to been around much in recent months. There used to be a stray cat we'd put food out for and this possum used to come and eat what the cat left... No, because it is stuck in a large Rubbermaid container we put out there for a stray cat. It's head is stuck in the front and it's back end out the back. Because of rigor mortis I can't get it out (and it's really stinky so not going to cut it out)... I put it back in the woods behind the house... Have to wait until something eats it... Then I'm throwing that tub away.
