    Anybody ever play The Hobbit on the ZX Spectrum? ... gave up in the end ... probably spent two years of my life in a fookin' dungeon in the Misty Mountains ... I may still be there coz once you got captured by that fookin' goblin you were never getting out <grr>

    Yep, loved it and this one.


    Also loved the Level 9 adventure games, ‘Dungeon adventure, Snowball etc they were hard but fun to play.

    First Xmas me and the missus were together she bought me a Playstation and a selection of games - we were down at her mum's with her whole family ....... I spent so much time on one of the games that she got madder and madder and it damn near finished off our relationship before it had got started <laugh> ... now been together for over 20 years ... here's the culprit ...

    Indeed - back then you thought seeing a few pubes was the best thing in the world. Now teenagers are regularly watching Russian birds take three up the arse at the same time. BBC always did sail close to the wind on occasion...
