“[Patrick Vieira] made a big difference because he is a legend,” Nasri told MCFC TV.

“When a player like this who played for Arsenal, Inter Milan and Juventus tells you that Manchester City is the place to be because it is the club of the future, they want to win everything they have a big, big project, you have to listen.”

Is vieira still regarded as an arsenal legend? Arsenal no longer in it to win it?

Could of sworn he wanted to go to United initially. Must have been my imagination because actually it's because of Big Pat and Citeh's fans...

It was because of Cym singing 'Nasri is a ****' that he left for the rain soaked **** hole that is Manchester.

Nothing whatsoever to do with the £180k per week <whistle>

Nasri is a devious lying greedy twat, he will say anything to anyone regardless of its' contradiction and inconsistencies with previous statements.
He wanted Man Utd and got Man City, he ain't the first and won't be the last, so he's masked it all by saying that he always wanted to sign for City.
£180k a week to warm a bench and the odd game in the stiffs.
It is the misleading comments made to fans as to why he will be despised forever - he is now on a par with Cashley, Arsenal fans genuinely wish pain and suffering on him

IM not going to jump on his back, i will keep a keen eye out for him to see how he is doing at citeh. He did score us some fooking sick goals and in inportant games (2nil win over citeh springs to mind) but lets be honest so what if he left for the money i bet wenger and board were more than happy to off load a player who is refusing to commit to the club and in all fairness football these days is a business. Better to sell now when the player lacks heart and the club get a nice bit of money for him.

Thing is with wenger who ever he brings in people will be like who the hell... but in two or three season they will be worldwide known names,

I had never heard of Fabregas or nasri, toure, clichy, viera or henry when they came to arsenal. But what ever the prof is doing or done its working....

Unfortunately Viera has absolutely no loyalty or affection for Arsenal, like many foreign players. Some have a small affinity with Wenger but not the club. As Viera is in charge of player development at City like Harry Rednapp he thinks that means buying Arsenal players! Its a compliment to Wenger and Arsenal in many ways.

Steevee, football may be a business to some clubs, but a club like City, whose wage bill is more than it's revenue, is not like any business I know. I was waiting for Nasri to wax lyrical about Bell, Lee and Summerbee, but we were saved from that.
