Who to hope wins next weekend - two clubs immediately above us, Bournemouth and Everton, play Huddersfield and Palace. I want the teams below us to lose, but...
That was good to watch! Well deserved result, despite a few Chelsea players not turning up. When you've got several players carrying the ball forward at pace and running at their defence, chances are bound to come...and they did!
Enjoy Monday all, well bank holiday here so going to get some nice takeaway to celebrate!! Also need a locksmith but couldn't care about that now.
Well then. The most immediate, important note is that Watford now have a slightly plumper cushion between them and the relegation zone - six points, in fact. But the headlines will of course be about the shambles of Chelsea, and the chances of them finding a big bin in which to put Antonio Conte. But, as mentioned at the start, one wonders if he’ll care: if he really was going to leave in the summer, this way he will merely get a nice wedge for something he was going to do anyway.
Watford boss Javi Gracia: "It was an unforgettable night. A great victory and a great match. I am very proud of my players today. "You always try to look for the victory and play well. Today we played a good match, pressed high. OK, the match changed after the sending off but I think we played very well. "Chelsea are a very big club, a big team. Today they had more difficulty because of the sending off but there was in the second half moments when they played better. "I only think to get the next three points. Tomorrow we start training again to be ready for the next match."
The best comment I've seen from a chelsea fan is, "Watford down to 11 men as Bakayoko gets sent off for a second bookable offence."
Well that was out of the blue (or yellow) 3 great goals and a very good all round display.. Must admit at 1-1 I thought here we go again as Chelsea were putting the pressure on but we founds life again. Generally looked very motivated and didn't give Chelsea room to play.
