    Yeah agree his monotone can get a bit wearing. But he knows his stuff, which is more than many.

    Michael Owen was my favourite whilst recovering from heart surgery ... if I couldn't sleep, even when the morphine kicked in, I could always get one of Michael's commentaries up on IPlayer and then drift off in next to no time ... thank you Michael, I feel a bit guilty that I'm unable to remember a whole sentence you may have muttered <ok>

    He’s clueless, but he’s got some solid competition from the likes of Lawro and that annoying beaut Redknapp.

    The BBC act as though Nevin is some sort of football oracle.

    He's a jumped up knobhead with a daft accent.

    Robbie Savage.

    Was quite amusing to see the reactions of Gerrard and Keown when Savage was talking about forcing a move through to Blackburn.

    Utter helmet.

    Remember Savage telling the studio that he was world class and Ian Wright just laughed in his face <ok>

    Was a complete misunderstanding ... Robbie had just come back from visiting the Waterford Crystal Glass factory in Ireland and was commenting that he had "twirled glass" whilst he was on that tour ... anything else would be ridiculous <ok>

    Yeah Keown called him stupid. Or words to that effect.

    I saw it on Youtube, I'm at work so I can't link it but type in something like "BT Sports Robbie Savage Mahrez" and it'll pop up.

    Basically Savage throws a paddy because we had the nerve to keep hold of our best player.

    Crooks is just a bit mental, in my opinion. Picks his team of the week based on who's scored.

    Michael Owen and Owen Hargreaves are awful. Jim Beglin's pathetic.
    Paul Scholes and Steve McManamanamanamanamanaman are utterly dull.

    I liked his pick of Fousseni Diabate this week.

    Not only did he have a fairly ordinary game (the odd moment of quality but not enough to be in the Team of the Week), Crooks spent about 3 paragraphs slating our decision to keep hold of Mahrez.

    Stephens getting in team of the week despite the first goal definitely being his fault and the second one debatably his fault, but he scored so **** it, he's in.

    Confirmed ... that's because he's astute, intelligent, informed and had to wait for me to move on before he could get into the Aylestone Park youth team <whistle>

    @PleaseNotPoll

    Here it is;

    "Leicester City may have found a new Riyad Mahrez, which is just as well because I cannot see the Algeria winger playing for them again.

    Fousseni Diabate's performance at Peterborough in the FA Cup was impressive - but that was Peterborough. Against a rejuvenated Swansea, he showed the same courage and mental strength Mahrez showed during the Foxes' title-winning season.

    There is nothing more exciting than seeing a player taking defenders on and Diabate does it for fun.

    How tragic then that Leicester's love affair with Mahrez has come to such a dramatic impasse. With a little bit of common sense, everyone would have won. Mahrez gets his move to Manchester City, Manchester City get the player and Leicester get a vast sum of money well in excess of what they paid for him.
    Now they have a distraction that will dominate their every press conference until it is resolved. Well done, Leicester."

    So basically, Diabate played well against Peterborough, that's why he's in the TOTW. Other than that, "MAHREZ GRUMBLE GRUMBLE SHOULD HAVE SOLD HIM GRUMBLE WHO DO THEY THINK THEY ARE GRUMBLE".

    Every time I hear that Alan Smith is the co-commentator I look for different channels like NBC or TSN in Canada. I even prefer to watch on Slovakian TV and understand nothing, just to avoid him.
