2nd wasn't though. The Spurs defender jumped onto the Liverpool player and then fell to ground. Kopp was right about that one.
I thought that one was completely nailed on. Dick Van Dyke walloped Lamella in the calf. Doesn't matter if the Spurs player got himself between the opponent and the ball, that's what you're coached to do.
He definitely caught him really hard on the calf. He didn't see him and was attempting to clear the ball, but it was nailed on. Very brave of the assistance though. If he'd done that in the Ellerslie corner of LR I genuinely would have feared for his life!
4 goals in one game, one more and he equals Washington for the whole season, two more he equals Smith, three and he’s top scorer. Let’s get him in under Holloway’s calm guiding influence and ruin him quick, before we get our hopes up.
The later kick-off at in the Liverpool game meant that I had to leave early so as to be back by 6.30 for the family dinner. I therefore missed the controversial decisions (I left when Wanyama equalised). However, I don't think not having seen something should prevent me from voicing my opinion and I therefore declare that neither of the penalty decisions were correct.
Seems the Scum have really hit the skids, 1-0 down and a man short at Watford. Could it be a taxi for Conte tonight?...
