Fcuk. Just hope that doesn't mean the Wally with the Brolly is getting it. Was spotted leaving ER with a huge smile on his face yesterday.

Had to happen after the run we've been on.

Will be very interesting to see if we have someone else lined up.

    Thank **** for that...
Should have taken Orta with him and should have happened in October after the first mega winless streak.

To be honest I don't think we will see a permanent appointment for at least a couple of weeks.

In that case, who’s likely to take charge in the meantime

Phil Hay has tweeted that a quick appointment is expected.

Looks like WJ may be right.

Looks like Radz has found his balls, truth is, TC wasn't very far away from being given boot.

Bookies have Simon Grayson as favourite at this stage, likely to change over time.

    Sorry, don't need Grayson back.

I reckon they should throw McCallister's hat in ring.

At least TC always conducted himself in a professional and courteous manner...unlike Warnock for example who is an arse in my opinion.

To be honest, I don’t care if Donald Trump is next manager if he can get us to hell out of this division

Pity Orta's still there but I suppose we can not have everything at once.
Hope this was not just a knee jerk reaction after yesterday but has been in the planning for a while.
I have many dislikes when it comes to Managers The wally with the brolly is very near the top of my list.
Also have to agree with Jammy about Warnock.

TC will now see the folly of his FA Cup team selection. Someone with more nous would have seen that a win was absolutely imperative. Resting players is a luxury he had not earn't the right to. Whenever you have the opportunity to win a game you should seize it with both hands and he was far too complacent. Now he can contemplate that whilst he waits an eternity for his next big chance.

If the problem we have is the players, as many extol, then does it matter who we appoint as coach? Surely a the turd polisher is a turd polisher?

More seriously, the first rule of Problem Management is to find the root cause(s) before you apply a solution. IF, and it's a big IF, that process has been followed fastidiously, & TC found to be the sole root cause, then then they are right to sack him & appoint a new manager. However, I'm not convinced they've established the root cause(s) myself, so this next appointment may actually exacerbate our problem(s).

Are you saying that if Leeds had remained in the cup but lost to Millwall and Cardiff he would still be your manager
