    Refs bent as ****ed @astro

As for pool was hoping you won but klopp only has himself to blame.

Smashed them first half but dropped off in the 2nd.

Should have continued pressing them high but you only sent 2 at a time but not with the same intensity and made it easy to play round you.

Then because those 2 were high up midfield stuck in no mans land and they just played it between your mid and defence. Either press in numbers or drop off in numbers.

Total lack of composure in defence too just smasing the ball as far as they could.

****ing hell, was he trying to kick him out of the ground!

A defender and MMA fighter, well worth £75m for that skill set.

That's what happens when players simulate contact and the FA doesn't take retrospective action when other angles prove no contact

The linesman angle also shows Lamela was offside just like Kane

Being pedantic, but if Lovren had deliberately played the ball wouldn't it have gone forwards. If it did touch him (I missed the incident) then it must have been a deflection?

looking at what was left on bench

    ings
    Solanke
    Moreno

why the **** didn't klopp.buy a cm or wide player

imo ox at lw was a joke we opened that wing to sputs by his introduction.

windy did nothing when he came on at all.

imo that's 5 points down since coutinho left we needed a.cm there to come in and hold the ball...
    just ssying.

    v swansea we needed creativity
v spurs we needed pressing, work and retain possession.

two totally different things but we failed to buy either

Nope, It was a Lovren mis-kick, quite common for him.

It looked like VVD did kick the back of Lamela's knee. There was absolutely no need for him to do that. There were hardly any seconds left. Keeping the ball there for a few more seconds and the whistle would have gone for the end of the match. For me watching this it looks a clear pen and explains why the linesman gave it.

For points given away per mins played for you this season how does VvD compare to Lovren?

Klopp might get a sanction from the FA for his innuendo about the officials and the quote below shows how little he knows about them

"The referee says keep on going, and the linesman makes the decision. That's how it is. That's what everybody saw."

They are not linesmen, they are assistant referees, it's their job to bring things to the refs attention that he may have missed <doh>

No idea but anyone who thinks Vvd will make a massive difference will be wrong until we change our coach or goalie or tactics. Not saying that cant happen but i have just resigned that we are always going to be like this under Klopp.
No idea if he will win anything but i do enjoy (in a masachistic way) enjoy watching us. As City going to dominate a while now prob best to have an entertaining team. Hope for tHe likes of istanbul to repeat :emoticon-0137-clapp

Just read on Sky they have the transcript from the ref and Lino convo.

Lino said did Lovren kick the ball? If he didn’t its offside and you have to chalk off the pen.

    Ref - I don’t know.

Lino - if he didn’t touch the ball it’s offside you need to make that call.

Ref - I have no idea if he touched it... Martin (4th official), have you or anything from the tv replay? I’m giving the penalty.

So first of all, the ref didn’t know if he touched the ball. Lino says if he didn’t touch it it’s offside. Ref still doesn’t know and in that instance he has to go woth what he sees and e doesn’t see Lovren touch it.

To then ask for a ref with tv replay is ridiculous. Jthats var... yes if you’re going to use it then use it but var isn’t in play here so why are they using a 4th official who has video assistance to check something?
