    Weirdly loud thunderstorm tonight. Constant lightning flashes too, it's like being in some sort of **** nightclub.

    Yeah I love them, best one I've ever seen was in Brussels. It was deadly silent and boiling hot at about 3am and I heard footsteps running and some guy shouting to himself. Looked out of the window and sure enough this guy was legging it down the street as fast as he could. Suddenly saw a massive lightning fork hit a street just one or two parallell to mine. Then for about 2 hours it continued to fork and sheet flash over and over every, say, 5 seconds maybe even less - and it stayed completely silent - not a single rumble of thunder.

    Still remember that guy though <laugh> he must have been ****ting himself.

    That sounds incredible. Best thunderstorm for me, was when I was cycling from Whitby, to York. There was a huge thunderstorm as we were going over the hilltops. The lightning strikes were ****ing amazing, if a little scary at times haha!

    Just got back from America and there was a great one on the day we left! I wasn't sure if we'd fly in it but we did and it was pretty ****ing amazing. There were ones coming yards away from the plane and I was sure we'd end up getting hit, but we got passed it safely

    It was honestly a mixture of both. Some strikes were too close for comfort. But we couldnt really stop on top of a hill during a storm, so we had no choice but to ride through it.

    And SRB, I'd love to catch a storm in America. More so, Id wanna go tornado hunting. I bet it would be a beautiful, yet scary sight.
