    As long as we win, about time we got to the Semi Finals of this, don't think we've reached that round since 1976 when we lost 2-1 to Man City in the Final.

    I was there, I didn't go on the pitch though, I was towards the back and I don't really agree with pitch invasions unless we won the league or the cup or something! Strangest night I have seen as a Newcastle fan though. The train station and train journey back was fantastic!

    I was near the back too and although I don't agree with pitch invasions it all started off as a bit of fun after they had started chanting, "If Sammy scores we're on the pitch", and when they did go on that's all it would have been if the Darlington fans hadn't run across to get into the ruck of things.

    I am really looking forward to seeing some of our fringe players and in particular (if they play) Marveaux, Abeid and Sammeobi....

    I think this is a good opportunity for the players to stake a place in the first team and keep the pressure on the first 11.

    Not really to fussed about the result if I am honest just hope we play some nice footy!
