We will not reach 40 points.................. but i think that anything over 35 will give us a good chance of survival.
Saying you need 40 points to survive ain't true, in the last 13 years 38 points has been enough on all but one occassion. Although I cant really see us getting 38 either, we are a bit not good.
No we have what we have. Time to stop making excuses as a manager and group of supporters. Its hindering us. We just nee to knuckle down and get results. Results at home are costing us and some of that is undoubtedly down to tactical/management. Get that right and we will stay up. The negativity created by the supporters obsessed with money and transfer windows needs to go.
Aha, we’ve weaseled it out of you at last. An admission, at last, from Penfold’s twin brother that Ashley doesnt and hasn’t financially supported his manager.
The table is nuts at the moment. 3 points separating 11th and 19th. If we don't beat both Huddersfield and West Brom at home we are going to struggle to get enough points. We may need to get a win away at a mid-table team to survive. The run in is not going to be for the faint-hearted.
We need to get some wins. While a point today helps keeps us ticking over drawing so many games is not going to be good enough.
Not sure what difference our plight has to yours at the moment, either you get enough points or you don't. Not our fault.
We have 3 games out of our last 12 I'd see us as favourites for (home West Brom, Southampton and Huddersfield) we need 6-7 points from them and another 4-6 from the other 9. Our hope is that games against the likes of Arsenal and Chelsea (last game of the season) has them on the beach and points we otherwise wouldn't get.
Right now I'd snatch your arm off for a 50-50 toss of a coin situation. Right now I see both of us and West Brom going down.
