The famous balcony of Romeo and Juliet in Verona, Italy.

 

Not actually historical though, as Romeo and Juliet were fictional characters, and there is no evidence that Shakespeare ever visited Italy. But an early example of Italian entrepreneurship, telling Japanese tourists that this is where she lived.

Blitz: а bomb mаde a direct hit on the ticket office at Bank Underground Station in London killing over 50 people

 

I used to work in that building for LIFFE (London International Financial Futures Exchange) trading the German Bund. (after the bombing that is)
