if anyone has a really bad case of the flu I'm sure someone would wheel you to the tunnel to shake hands with the Liverpool team
If we get nothing from this, there is a good chance we'll get dragged back (temporarily) as the teams at the bottom seem to be playing each other....apart from Newcastle (v United).
In the absence of a not like button I have to say there are certain swear words which we should not accept in a thread.
Yesterday felt like a real watershed moment in the season, I witnessed a "togetherness" and purpose that I hadn't previously seen. If Pellegrino changes that team just for the sake of it (not injuries), then he doesn't deserve to keep his job.
Whereas others would say it's just another swear word and that giving it an acceptability score seems rather odd.
Really getting bored of this Anti MP crap on here.. But yes, The team are together, I feel they give everything for the most part, We just haven't been very lucky. We have a lot of draws that could easily have been wins.
I'm not being anti-MP, i'm just pointing out that this was basically the team that played well against Spurs and has not been picked again until now. It's not rocket science, pick your best players and you have a better chance of winning. There is absolutely no reason to make changes to this team (as he has in the past, he never picks the same XI consecutively), just let them grow together.
I agree, And I feel the same frustrations with the second half collapses, And the team selections. He has experimented.. So I'm hoping he keeps to the system too, I believe he will. But everyone has a sly dig at him, People keep pointing it out.. And It's not like we can't see the errors he has made.. Encouragement works a lot better than Criticism.
I accept that he is a young Manager feeling his way in the game, he has been a little slow to see what some fans can ( Forster, JWP, Boufal etc) but i'll be backing him if he sticks to this new "bolder" approach.
Don't forget, This squad of players are playing for HIM! he is also, Hopefully learning with each performance.. And also finding his best formations, Tactics. Team.. Etc.. Albeit a little slower than us as fans would like. I'm hoping for a stronger end to the season, We could still finish top 10 and Do well in the cup. There are a lot worse teams than us, I'm hoping this is our run of form.
Keeping Salah quiet is going to be a tough task! Despite playing well against the Baggies, I'd be tempted to start Hojbjerg instead of Tadic for this one and getting him to man mark Salah. Of course there's still Firmino/Mane/Lallana/Oxo to worry about, but Salah this season is just unbelievable.
