I watched my local pubs sunday league team this morning and theirs was more inspiing team talk at half time (by the seems of it) and better tactical subsitutes. The manager is a window cleaner, ( no disrespect, his company and maybe thats how he kows to delegate),Rafa is so defensive.

This was a must win game. We really ****ed it second half. I can’t understand what Rafa must have said to them second half. I am nearly at the point where I am not ever enjoying watching us play. Every game is hard work and totally ****. We are playing like relegation fodder and we may stay up because there could be three worse teams than us but it’s crap to watch.
Gayle is the worst culprit for me. He has not done anything of note this game. Nothing. A striker who basically does not actually shoot. Who does not link up play. Who is pathetically weak. I honestly hope that we stay up and maybe there is change.
To be honest....I would’ve been mildly happy with a point before kick off, as **** as we are I still think there’s about 4 teams who are worse!

The Rafa love in, is surely coming to an end. Because we have had pardew and carver we tink Rafa is great, I would rather have hughton back.
If we sacked Rafa (who’s is ducking **** btw) and got Hughton in I would be very happy. Rafa is gash at this level of football. His decision making is baffling. You almost wonder whether he is thinking i am going to shaft you Ashley by throwing the games. It’s almost match fixing.
you will see shirt pulling in the area in almost every game and nothing would be given by the letter of the law it is correct, but lets have consistancy - we'll not though but the same lino that gave it missed the holding on Gayle in the first half ( i mentioned it at the time) and 2 fouls in front of him on Dummet

If you had to make the case for someone, it would have to be Palace,. But Newcastle came here, stuck to their task and they've done ok. On reflection, if I was a Palace fan, I'd feel hard done by, but Newcastle fans should be happy. For 20 or 25 minutes, you did fear for Newcastle, but they showed some mettle and character. They didn't let any of their fans down. WTF ??????????
Diame seemed to be limping when he went off. Not sure about Kenedy although we were getting pummelled down our left flank at the time so could have been to try and snuff that out.
