Wouldn't be surprised if we are more crcumspect than you expect. Klopp has done this on occasion against "better" teams & even did it in midweek against Huddersfield. Think we will rely on the front 3 to try & do it mainly on their own with support from 2 of the MF 3.I actually hope we invite you on & try & catch you on the counter attack. Right now i would settle for a point though by 4pm tomorrow i will probably convinced we will win 4-0 or lose 4-0
Norbert has said that he believes Sissoko is back to the form he showed at Newcastle. Isn't that the main reason we're PO'd when he's on the pitch?
The Mouser-media is out in force, Graeme Souness says... “In his other businesses, Joe Lewis, the owner, doesn’t buy them when they are perfect. He buys them when he thinks a bit of tweaking and a change of manager can improve it and then flogs them for a profit. Daniel Levy, the chairman, runs Tottenham for him along the same lines. They buy players to make them better, create value, and then sell them on. “I believe that Harry Kane should leave for Real Madrid this summer, if he gets the chance. The fee Real will have to pay for Kane will start with a two and be followed by eight zeros. I reckon that he could become the first £200m player. It's a terrible shame that Mascherano, Suarez, Sterling and Coutinho were all abducted by aliens. Terrible, terrible shame.
Graeme Souness says... “In his other businesses, Joe Lewis, the owner, doesn’t buy them when they are perfect. He buys them when he thinks a bit of tweaking and a change of manager can improve it and then flogs them for a profit." Which "businesses" has Joe Lewis done that with ... ?? "Daniel Levy, the chairman, runs Tottenham for him along the same lines. They buy players to make them better, create value, and then sell them on." at silly money prices if : 1. the club deems them surplus to requirements 2. the player has been unsettled by an envious club “I believe that Harry Kane should leave for Real Madrid this summer, if he gets the chance." I bet you do. I bet you will seek to usurp our Jamie for that job if Spurs win today.
We are Spurs we are not allowed to keep our best players. Remind me, who lost their best players in the January window?
err excuse me but we didn't lose Coutinho i'll have you know he was just misplaced whilst we were on a winter break in the sun
Id like to see us revert to a back three today with Dier dropping back alongside Sanchez and Vertonghen. Wanyama to play DM alongside Dembele flanked by Aurier and Rose (if fit). Eriksen and Dele playing as dual no.10's behind Kane like last season. Its Harsh on Son who has been excellent recently but we have to have a more defensive mindset for this game and play on the break. In Son and Lamela we will have two players to inject some energy late on if needed.
This game depends on Poch imo... Set up defensively and counter attacking, we won't score more than one and they're is no chance we'll keep a clean sheet. Play your usually style and it will suit us.
