Good Morning to Matt and co from a sunny Bardsey Lets start with the coach he has not been forceful enough needs to man up and tell the players their indiscipline and stupidity is not only letting the fans and his teammates down ibut its letting him down and unless he does this like now Glory will have his way I'm afraid to say and he will be sacked and I think Marko Silva will be appointed I didn't watch the game because I don't know how to stream but I have one question to ask was Bamba following orders from Warnock to take out Pontus from the game as he saw him as a threat Lets all get together the doomsters will just be loving thus starting at Sheff does anyone know if we have any CB available on freebies
To be fair I think all the players stepped up second half and we had a good go at them. Dallas did well after coming on and a couple of times beat his man down the right hand side to get useful crosses in. If we had had Tyler Roberts to come on and replace Roofe who knows what might have happened. We certainly had them worried and one more goal back and who knows what might have happened. The one who let us down was Beradi. Initially I thought the Ref had been conned by the player fouled but managed to get a good look at the replays on LUTV at half time and he clearly catches their player on the heel with his follow through. Yes the Ref could have just given a foul and a final warning but we are Leeds so why would we expect something like that. Absolutely no point in sacking TC until he has dealt with the mess of suspensions and injuries that will now decimate the squad for the next couple of weeks. If he somehow manages to turn things around then he deserves to keep his job. He will have to be brave and risk all by promoting a couple of U23's and changing our style and system as it's currently not working.
I can't comment on other sides injuries but I'm sure ours is probably one of the worst in the League. Unfortunately football is becoming a non contact sport. Tell me this WC, if Beradis tackle was a second bookable offence, then why weren't Bamba and their other defender not. The other thing is IF we'd scored rather than hit the woodwork, the result may have been different. I have to laugh at the fickleness of supporters. At the start of the season TC could do no wrong, but now that it's gone tits up those same supporters are calling for his head. We need time, the managers need time. Changing manager now will make no difference and the new manager will get the same abuse as all the others did, if things go wrong. Patience is not a word in the average Leeds United fans vocab.
Don't want to come over as a bit harsh but don't be so ****ing stupid. Pontus's injury was nothing to do with Bamba "taking him out". I did watch the game courtesy of Matt's stream, and it was a complete accident.
Don't you start stirring Chesh...... I have to say I liked your style at our last meet up. Buying 9 pints or was it 11 in one go, absolute genius......
I am unable to say anything about yesterdays game as we were in Manchester to celebrate a granddaughters 21st birthday {she is a nurse there}.I did not hear a commentary nor have I heard or read a report on the game. My concern is simply lack of self discipline, I am certainly not blaming TC any coach would have the same problem.
Thought Bamba fouled him which should have been a pen stood on the back of his heel and Berardi wouldn't have been booked 10 seconds later if the ref had got it right, massive game changing fook up by a poor ref again.
I watched the whole game on a link. Fair enough WC, I'm not arguing with you or anyone for that matter. It's just my opinion. But the constant doom and gloom on here , makes me dread coming on here sometimes.
Good morning all,TC is too soft & clueless imho, these players as i keep saying looked yes almost world beaters early in the season, and i almost couldn't believe some of the football they were playing, and thaught then they could more than hold their own in the PL.Now something must have happened before the millwall game because after that,we are getting what we see now (it was almost an overnight change) No discipline & no more quality football.(i don't believe that crap about other teams just sussed us out) they were not just beating teams, they were almost cruelly dismantling them with great football and intelligence. Now they look clueless and most look as though they couldn't care less. This is where someone like Nigel pearson could change things (he wouldn't stand for some of the performances we have seen, and more importantly the players would know this as well.Of course for this to happen Radz will have to hold his hands up and put his trust solely in Pearson and no more dof.Imust admit this could go one of two ways either they will revolt and we would see worse (if thats possible) or he would get them to play like we saw earlier in the season.A good strong leader never did any team any harm. And i am afraid TC just aint it.Sorry if this has upset people, but this is how i feel,as we are now in freefall.
Well it's on the TV so we'll be able to see for ourselves. There's a pub in town that shows all the games live and theres even an area set aside for Leeds United fans. If you wear your top you get pints for a fiver, which is good considering the normal prices that the pubs in town normally charge..
nothing we can do about the team or selections.but what we can do is try to get along with each other. bearing in mind every single poster on here is entitled to their opinion.we may not agree but it's their right to post it. no need for any abuse or saying they are not a Leeds supporter because they are . We are stuck with supporting our team through good or bad and yesterday i was willing us to fight back. every time i attend a live game i'm the same cheering them on best i can. now hoping crappy wednesday get knocked out of the cup so shako can have his birthday meet up which i will attend. For those of you who disagree with my views then go feck yourself
Pearson is a twat, he'd last a few months IMO, he'd alienate the fans. In fact I think he hates Leeds. I can't speak for others but I'd hate to see him at this club. The thing is Southern, we don't konw what TC does or says in the dressing room. So how fans can call him soft is beyond me. Maybe he is. The problem managers have nowadays is that they are dealing with overpaid, pampered prima donnas.
