Off Topic The Moggfather Appreciation Society

He’s not a fair man. He’s lied to Parliament in the last couple of days and after it was confirmed that he lied he went on to make an unfounded accusation to try and support his lie. He’s only interested in looking after himself and his own kind. I’m surprised that anyone who hasn’t got a few million in the bank and at least 100 acres thinks he’s got any interest in helping them.

 

I just think he's a **** of the highest order fella. He doesn't have yours or my interest at heart. His ethics are based in fundamental puritanical christianity based in a context of privilege. It's a ****ing million miles from the ordinary life fella. This type of thinking has smoking cannabis in league with Devil worshipping, respectfully I reckon you're backing the wrong horse in my opinion.

I don't follow politics, mate. Only the big bits, or if I happen to catch something on the news. I'm unaware of what you're talking about.

It's probably more to do with backing anything but Labour and the Conservatives are the only realistic option for me to vote for. I take people as I find them, and I've took a big like to JRM. I've been very impressed with the way he's talked about Brexit.

Yeah fair play fella. We all have to make our own decisions about all of this. I just think you need to be aware that Mogg ain't on your side, and ironically Corbyn probably is. The IRA were scum, but somebody needed to negotiate with them. Corbyn and others set the precedent, Thatcher followed it up (secretly of course)

I think there was a plan to wipe them out. One option. But do you think it would have brought peace ?

 

To end the conflict. Margaret Thatcher's govt negotiated with the IRA for exactly that reason, even while she was saying "we don't negotiate with terrorists".

With respect mate, I wouldn't want JC on my side or thinking he's a voice for me. I think he's a piece of **** and doesn't have this nations interests at heart. The **** would get rid of the armed forces and nukes if he had his way. Just my opinion, though.

I think with running a business, that JRM would be on my side.

Isn't that exactly what this government is doing? We currently have an aircraft carrier with no aircraft, and 2/3 of the Royal Navy in dry dock.

 

Getting rid of one of the 3 marine commando units.
Scrapped the Lynx helicopters.
Trying to replace full time soldiers with TA.

ALL lying bastards.

 

Mate, they are all in ****ing cahoots with each other. Their moral compass points in the direction of what generates the most money/power/influence.

 

That's why politics is so ****e. People don't see it.

 

I hear you fella. I think we want the same thing. I just don't think an old Etonian establishment **** like Mogg gives one **** about you or me. He might do his best to pander to that in the media, but it will be business as usual with him and his cronies in charge. You might not like JC and his stance on nukes, but ultimately that is radical thinking right there in the right direction for the long term. And in the immediate future, he won't let the status quo get away with lining their pockets at everybody else's expense
