Probably in the misguided belief that they’re ‘on the same side’ When, in fact, he’s just a pawn, another useful idiot, that people like Moggy use and then discard without a second thought.

The DUP are as much the political voice of Loyalist terrorists as Sinn Fein are the political wing of Republican terrorists, there can be no distinction between the two.
Yet while Tory MP's refer to them as Sinn Fein/IRA (one entity )they don't give a similar status to the DUP and it's links to loyalist terrorism, it was an absolute act of desperation from May to cosy up to them to continue as PM.

No idea what his views are on that. It would be handy for my business to expand, but it's not essential. Don't forget I live in Durham, if I want to smoke cannabis, the police look the other way. It's practically decriminalised here.

I agree with the vast majority of what JRM says.

 

He'll still have to get it through parliament though. He seems a fair man, to me. I can't see him implementing every one of his own views. He's hardly going to try and make homosexuality illegal again, is he. So I don't think he'll try and outlaw Cannabis.
