    It shouldn't be forgotten though that this was a team drilled under Tony Pulis. He might not be in the dugout anymore, but they're still going to be strong at set pieces for a good while yet.

    Frustrating to concede two such goals, yes. And we have failed to replace Virgil, yes. But we won't face such aerial strength every week.

    Clearly that means a new superstition: every time the Foo Fighters are playing during a Saints match, you have to attend. Think you'll have to head to Brazil next.

    They were part of the lineup of the concert I ever saw, incidentally, along with A Perfect Circle, The Smashing Pumpkins and others. A couple years ago I was cleaning out my wallet, and lo and behold the ticket stub (which I have apparently transferred from wallet to wallet without realizing it) is in there.

    I think the best thing coming out of that performance for me was the delight of the players when we scored, they are clearly pretty tight as a unit and also, it would appear playing for the manager?
    Loved Boufal's reaction after JWP scored.
    A decent team spirit can carry you a long way in troubled times?

    It can indeed. I don't think anyone has ever questioned the players effort at all this season. We have had our fair share of bad luck in games, but it's mainly down to Pellegrinos management. However, if he continues to play this team, and Hojbjerg or Austin, barring injury for the rest of the season we should be alright.
