****ing hell, the refs are giving free kicks for crooked put ins at the scrum in this tournament. At last.

France have a lot of the ball but getting nowhere with it. Ireland strangely ill disciplined, but lead with two Sexton penalties.

It’s not a great game but I’m really enjoying it.

Tremendous try, Ireland in danger of having their pockets picked...

Shocking decision from the normally brilliant Owens.
    France really up for it.
    This is what I feared.

The momentum has swung France's way. Can they hold their discipline for five minutes?...

    Ireland have beaten themselves.
    Well done to France
Owens call was crucial. Don’t want to sound like a broken record but his call at a crucial stage has cost us the gane. One player jumped and was hit in the air, one didn’t jump at all. Wrong call

    Ah. Ok.

French miss easy penalty. Ireland will nick this.

    I’m almost in tears.
That’s what I love about rugby. The passion. France’s defence was unreal. Incredible.
    Neither side deserved to lose.
40 phases and a drop goal.

To play that many phases in those conditions was incredible, Sexton has nerves of steel, a truly memorable finish, well done the Irish...<applause>

Brilliant from Ireland and Sexton, how many phases to set up the drop? For the French not to give away a penalty through it was also a little surprising.

Big step forward for the French though, and England have to go to their house.....England need a big win tomorrow.

Brilliant finish to the Ireland game sexton must have ice going through his veins....

The only suspect call from ref imo was the head injury to French replacement scrum half.....the one involving Kearney was no more than a collision both players looking at the ball....
