It's a good point, but traditional managers haven't worked either, we've been out of the top league for a long time you're forgetting when we've had 'managers' in fact we had two relegations with them in place.
We were on the up under Grayson given a couple more season we could have been in the Prem but the sale of Howson and the fact Captain Birdseye needed a Scape goat bugger up our chances. If the 2 managers I think you're talking about were Grey and Wise then Eddie wasn't qualified and had to deal with Reid's dross. On the other hand Wise could have done better. Yes we have been out of the top flight not for 13 to 15 years but we've seriously damaged ourselves on the transfer front 2 seasons now because people think they can player Football Manager in real life
Cardiff really battled hard. Apart from the own goal, Bamba was better than all our defenders. Surprised he was not booked tho.
The manger where told was a defensively minded! We are lacking discipline specially at the back. We are seriously getting closer to relegation zone .
Honestly I think we'll see TC in post next Saturday. Radz has a lot to prove, he pissed off Monk and brought in an unkown Coach to push for promotion. I don't think he's going to back down easily on the manager front.
**** O'Leary, he took his 4 million + book sales off us, unless he wants to work for nothing for retrospective payment.
The sending offs are down to the Manager. The team scraped 1-0 wins through December but have been extremely poor since the flurry of the first few games. Preston put 2 past Hull even though they sold their top striker and Colchester beat Newport! We could still be playing Hull and wouldn't have scored. We are making poor teams look good and that is also down to the Manager. He seems to have run out of ideas and this season is now over. I'm glad we've got enough points so we won't go down. I still think he should have put a team out to hammer Newport. So depressing
