Midfield player scores again. Tom Trybull celebrates new contract with a goal which relieves the pressure. BBC comentator stated that Norwich can’t hit the back end of a barn from 20 yards, from 10 yards or from 1 yard until Trybull scored. When is Basil going to be relieved of his duties and DF let’s the new German lad on, Srbeny? Why not try with 2 strikers as Middlesbrough are down to 10 men?
And I was just saying yesterday that Trybull was ''stalling' on signing a new contract!!!! Great response.
Hernandez now on for Murphy. Basil still on. Really can’t see why DF persists with the Portuguese player when he has Srbeny and Abraham.
Chris Gorham on Radio Norfolk “we have a corner, but Basil is the only player in the penalty area” Beginning to think DF has been studying the Hootun tatical handbook and we all know what happened to him. 1 - 0 to NCFC against 10 men well we won but are we making ANY progress?
Good question and it really doesn't seem as though we are, but at least we held on for the win.and Boro only managed 1 shot on target and 9 shots on goal in total!!! Next Saturday will be a really good test.
I want to be just happy with a win but, we are fundamentally flawed as a team if once again we are reliant on one exceptional bit of skill from range. Farke hasn't a clue how to get a team creating great chances. We can' keep scoring worldies.........can we? but we won so for now woohoo! Bah!
General and others. OK, I wasn't at the game, but according to 'FlashScores', we had 21 shots on goal, 6 blocked 6 and on target. I WOULD call that progress!!!
Basil fails to score for the 10th game on the trot...............and we have been 13th for at least the last three games.
Maybe, Sky had it listed at 17 shots vs 10 but obviously it says nothing of the quality. A point of note Brentford had more shots than that against us last week and we had 11 men (they didn't score though) just glad we won, but the elephant is still in the room Bah!
Yes General, we will have to wait for a report from KIO (if he was sober enough to actually watch the game , etc) as to the quality - failing that, the 30 seconds or so of Sky Highlights. Edit - Jota's 2 goals for Brum were his first since joining from Brentford in August!! Not a very good indicator - http://www.skysports.com/football/norwich-vs-mboro/374972 Well, I CAN'T remember the last time Paddy's pointers sounded SOOOO positive - http://www.edp24.co.uk/sport/norwic...ters-middlesbrough-championship-win-1-5381152 Including a VERY impressive home debut from Leitner - "Moritz Leitner replaced Trybull just before the hour mark for his home debut. It will have taken the more discerning Norwich fan about three passes to recognise the former Borussia Dortmund midfielder has a wonderful vision and technique. They say good players always look like they have more time on the ball." The manner Leitner strolled about central areas, caressing and stroking the ball at times and bringing his team mates into play bodes well for the remainder of his loan stint. You could visibly see the confidence the rest of his new pals had in the manner they looked for him to trigger probing counters.
