Bitcoin down 30% today apparently. I like the idea of an unregulated currency that Govt can't interfere with, but ultimately I reckon it's a castle made of sand.

Didn't it gain traction because people were using it on the Silk Road, to buy and sell drugs and weapons ?

Been trading it for a little while, it’s mad crazy price swings in a day are for speculators only as you can easily do your dough.
Bitcoin is the most known and has the highest price - but I like to buy in some of the smaller priced coins and ride any big movements.
Litecoin today has gone from $151 to $108 and back up to $135 and is at $125 at the moment - if you trade in the movements then good money to be made, get the wrong side of it and you drop a bollock.

A bit late to be getting involved now, I reckon. That boat has sailed, the time to get aboard was a couple of years ago.

I have no ****ing clue what it is btw.

I work with a young guy who put a **** load of money into and has made a small fortune, if he cashes out now at the current rates.

I also know of a couple of young lads who I also work with who've lost quite a bit in the last year.

It's all about timing, knowing when to cut and run.

This bubble is going to burst soon.

    Its all about timing.

One of my biggest mistakes ever was not jumping on them years back. I was using them when they were about £3 per Bitcoin....and going up rapidly.

Didn't invest and kicking myself now.

It was probably about 7 years ago I was using Bitcoin every week.

I remember even posting a thread on here about their uses all that time ago!

If you’re wondering what I’ve just asked G4E in the above, liquidity refers to the ability to both buy and sell under any market conditions.

In small markets, such as the AIM market, so called market makers are there only when conditions suit them. In other words before you buy, make sure you can sell when you want or need to.

That isn’t always the case, by a long way!

Personally I have made some money on Crypto, just from getting on board Pre-ICO and buying up **** for chump change and then waiting for the exchanges to go live and then selling out.

Made about 2k so far out of an investment of about £100.

Dont see it lasting long though, the banks are getting worried, and they usually get their own way.

By the time I got to the end of your post I was savagely smashing the living pussylight out of your Signature pic, in my mind.

Happens all the time, last week I read one of your posts and by the end of it she was sucking my dick, in my mind.

    Weird
