Well I can't believe their attitude. We're a much bigger club than them, and I would follow my team until the end. I think I actually went to more games during League One and the relegation seasons than average. Why? Because I knew the team needed my support more than ever. As a small club with a long history in the third tier, they should be happy to be in the second tier with a chance of survival.Sure, they can't compete when big clubs come in for their players, but that forces these type of clubs to be more inventive and use initiative. They really should get behind their team and stop moaning.
I hate to come across all high and mighty but you're right, we've been in their position not so long ago and the real fans didn't give up then. In fact, similarly to you I only started going in our relegation season, and went to plenty of games in League One, I didn't just decide not to go because we were really crap. I don't like all these excuses about 'we've had to put up with all of this for years'. What kind of excuse is that? You either love the club or you don't. There are valid reasons for not going but the team being crap and in a relegation battle isn't one of them.
although im desperate to see prem football at the king power stadium i have to say that the league 1 season was very entertaining and i enjoyed every game in the 49 years ive been following the foxes my devotion to the club has never waivered even if my support of the owners has from time to time been less than complete.
