Know what you mean as he started off having us playing good fast football. We played on the deck, passed the ball well and hit teams on the break when we could. However since the defeats away at Millwall and Cardiff his principles seemed to change and we've gone backwards ever since. He changed us to 3 at the back and for 20 mins we absolutely battered Millwall at home. Then he decided to go back to a back four and allowed the opposition to dominate the midfield and made it much harder for us to keep the ball. If he was a brave manager he would have stuck with what was working and made us play higher up the pitch rather than defending too deep. Will we see that 3 at the back that worked so well again this season ? I doubt it as he is simply not brave enough and when he has been relieved of his duties he will so wish he could have this opportunity back again.
Scenario and my opinion and not taking sides but can full understand why (disclaimer out the way) Thomas has never seen Roberts play, the first he knew of him was when Orta said, “we’re bringing in this new striker who we can afford”. Can you blame Thomas for wanting to see what he can do in training first? Thomas knows what Lasogga and Roofe can and can’t do, Roberts might as well be a stranger walking in off the street, he could be a Barrow, Kebbe, Grimes, Paynter or Morrison. It was exactly the same with Le Bock and Forshaw, Thomas wouldn’t have had a clue. When you have a director of football calling all the shots in regards to Transfer activity you’ve got to expect the coach to want to have a look first and see if he feels the new addition is any better to what we already have.
If you watch Sky football, Gary Neville really knows his stuff. It pains me to say it but his knowledge when pointing things out on the pitch is a breathe of fresh air and I’d rather listen to him than those babbling idiots, Thompson, Nicholas and Merson or BBCs Hansen. Give Neville the coaches job and Valencia fans will tell you he is useless, it’s one thing telling you what’s wrong, it’s another thing fixing it and managing/coaching the players. Thomas obviously impressed doing his Gary Neville style presentation at the interview but has he the ability for match day? I’m doubting it but I’m also curious about many of Ortas signings
Come on ristac, you know the score,if you can't say something horrible about scum players you say nothing.
Sadly it was no mansion.. That’s why we had to move.. The mrs didn’t understand the concept of downsizing.
To be fair she was right this time. Anyway we are flying out to Spain on Sunday to buy a place over there. The way things are going I am not going to be around much even if wj doesn’t manage to get me banned. Will deffo see you on St Paddy’s day and will arrange via chesh or Marcos if I am blackballed here..
Estepona, Puerto Banus, Marbs. You have an official complaint from wj about me basically doing to him what he has done to me over recent months.. The difference when he was spouting lies about me they were fed to a patsy who just regurgitated them as an innocent victim posting in good faith. Not a problem, if I have outstayed my welcome then any one of you just say the word and I will be out of here no need for troubling anyone to organise a ban..... At least one of us recognises you mods and the super mods have better things to do than get involved with this nonsense.
Nice one Glory, so whens the house warming party Doubt WJ can get you banned, he doesn't line the mods pockets as much as you do All joking aside I hope it works out for you and the mot. Regarding Paddys day, if the Wendies win in the next round of the cup, the game against us will be changed.
You offering? I would be gobsmacked if the mods don’t see the complaint as the sour grapes it is. A case of biter gets bitten if you will. Even the threat to involve the super mod if our mods don’t deal with it is typical cry baby snide stuff. Perhaps if the mods get sacked he can take over? I don’t expect to hear any more about it, so expect to be still here when I get back from my trip.
