Liverpool's win at Huddersfield on Tuesday was a result the Reds needed in every way - a clean sheet and no mistakes at the back, and they created enough chances to win easily.

Dejan Lovren did not have a very good day when these two sides met at Wembley earlier in the season, andTottenham ran out 4-1 winners.

So Liverpool owe them one, but I don't see them getting their own back on Sunday.

Spurs showed against Manchester United that they are in good shape at the moment, and they have not lost since their defeat by Manchester City in December. I see that run continuing.

I am a fan of Tottenham's new signing Lucas Moura too. The Brazilian is very quick and gives them something they have not otherwise got down the right.

    Lawro's prediction:1-1

Someone should tell him that this is the 3rd winger Poch has bought for Spurs & the other 2 saw about as much game time as Caulker for us.

Lawro's predictions are totally incomprehensible. When he gives us a draw at home, it means that he thinks we'll lose. Because he can never bring himself to predict a loss for us. In 2 years he has never predicted a loss for us. So if we take him at face value we are invincible.

But in this case I think he is wrong. Spurs have been poor away. And Spurs like City are exactly the type of team we like playing against. Our front line should have some joy against their defence.

We should win with lots of goals in the match: 3-2 Salah scoring twice.

If you listen to him on 5Live Friday afternoon he laughs about this every time and admits he can't predict a loss. Don't take him so seriously <doh>

    I'd take a draw.

    I want a win.

    We'll probably lose.

Spurs didn't setup in their usual way at Wembley. They say deep and played counter attacking football. With this game being at Anfield, I can't see them reverting to type.

    I would presume so.

    I am watching

    a) henderson position. If he leaves his position and by that i mean when we are attacking and the two cbs are on Half way line or so then the attacking players of spurs will want to have a starting position deeper than tat. Watch henderson. He will drift in front of those players and one ball takes him completely out of the game.

    b) gomez. I expect him to not cross the HW line.

    c) who will play? Milner or ox or windy. Personally I thought milner last day gave robertson every cover so for me he could start LCM nobody else. the rest can fight for RCM with Can. the wsest brom game niether windy nor ox gave gomez any support so they can sit on bench here imo.

    d) will lovren start RCB? I would not. It will be interesting to see who starts in the two CB roles.

    to sum up.

    no moreno
    no ox
    no winjnaldum
    No lovren

    Front 3 pick themselves.
    IMO middle 3 pick themselves
BAck 4 should pick themselves bar matip v lovren. not great that.
    GK is a disaster.

Lawro is a completely one eyed, kopite clown.

Quite how he gets paid to be a supposedly serious pundit is truly incredulous. He’s on a par with that screaming melt Aldo.
