Another 10 miles through the quagmire today. I'm spending as much time cleaning the bike as I am riding it.
So one month in, how's everybody's fitness coming along, any gains in the gym, any weight loss, anybody piled on the pounds?
I had a blast in a Bentley GT Timeless edition on Sunday, when I put my foot down in that thing I think I lost about half a stone in turd. Apart from that, a less than successful year for me so far on the physique front.
Ha if only I had that choice, I'd definitely do the same. I've just bought the Mrs a new car so I'll start looking for mine soon, Bentley not in my reach.
Yeah, I've put half a stone on since new years day. I'd lost quite a bit last year with my diet of cannabis joints and sweets, so it was always going to be a quick gain. I've been out for 2 weeks with a wrist injury but I've kept up with my diet and I'll be lifting weights again soon.
****! ****! ****! Struggling with a bad back at the minute and cant get into the gym. Started yoga classes and can't do them either. Bloody frustrating.
Good man. I've just had no time, flat out at work on two massive projects and starting up a new JV. Hopefully things will calm down in about 6 weeks and I'll find more time to train.
Work comes first, mate. Just get a bar and some weights for the house, plenty of core exercises you could do without weights too.
It's the time mate, I leave for work at 6:45 and get home at 5 and have to make dinner, spend an hour with the baby, then do some stuff on this JV. I've got striking pads and an uppercut wall bag in the shed and a set of selectabells knocking about too, but a) I'm knackered and b) I'd wake the baby up! We're talking about putting a gym in at work, just a power rack and bench and some bags.
Fitness is good. Put on a few kilos over Christmas and back down to my pre christmas weight now. Happy with that end of Jan, still got more to lose. But it's heading in the right direction
