Who would have thought it - there goes the neighbourhood!

Won't be able to get in the Black Boy for bearded lumberjacks and their blousie partners

M&S have just announced a load of store closures, Hull isn't one of them, but Bridlington is.

Someone from Hull talking about ****holes. Irony lives.

I would have shut it down for one reason. The first ever bloke to win a George Cross won it for rescuing people from that building after a bombing raid in the war when he was warned not to go in as it was in danger of imminent collapse. Also involved in uncoupling a blazing railway wagon full of ammunition and shells and moving them. The ****s argued about putting a plaque up due to public liability issues. What exactly is the risk of a plaque screwed onto a wall?

    Really?
Didn’t know that. Amazing (and there are virtually no public liability issues)

Must be more to it, there would be literally no public liability issues.

Just some text in similar writing, unless there’s a 3rd one?

There's only the original one confirmed as a Banksy, there's another one that's just text that was spotted a couple of days ago and the new one today is the one I just posted above.

Possibly, though I'm not convinced by the text one, anyone could have done it.

This new one that appeared overnight is more interesting, as it seems to be exactly the same as a stencil image that Banksy has used before, just with the bird changed from a live one to a dead one.

There was an argument about who would be responsible if the plaque fell off the wall, M & S or the council. As you know A and E departments are full of people with injuries caused by falling plaques. It got into the nationals and on TV because of the fact it was concerning the first recipient of the George Cross. Council were embarrassed into some sort of compromise as I recall.

I should imagine it was M and S head office. Don't think the staff on the tills will have been involved.
Boiled down to the council informing them they wanted to put a plaque on their property but they would be liable for any claims unlikely as that would be.
