Well that was a bit of a piss poor game wasn't it, first 4 or 5 mins looked like it could be a cracker then both sides just lost all quality and it turned out quite boring
I already really, really like the guy. Seems genuine, humble and down-to-earth much like the right winger he will hopefully (and finally) be the player to improve upon (Lennon). None of the peacock-strutting ****e you see from the likes of Pogba and Neymar. Thanked god, clearly grateful to the fans and was beaming. Also loved his intro video. So much better than that bollocks they put together for Sanchez. What I love even more is that he went on his own Facebook account and 'liked' the clip!
Diego! You are a silly girls blouse.Spurs were on the field too. But they were so fast even United's supporters couldn't keep up with them.
Fresh back from the game. A TOP, TOP night. We beasted them. It may only have been 2 - 0 but it could easily have been 5 or more, by the end, they were a shambles and offered very, very little throughout. I can't express how dominant Jan Vertonghen was defending and moving forward. Any forward movement crashed into him [and to a lesser extent Davinson Sanchez]. There was an amazing moment in the second half when the entire stadium sang [even the posh seats] "Super, super Jan, Super, super Jan, Super, super Jan, Super Jan Vertonghen" From Jan and Mousa grew a confidence on the ball that spread throughout the team. It was good to see us go all out against a 'money club' and do them, just like Chelsea at WHL last season. On the way home, we got onto a tube at Marylebone with a few hundred Spurs, just as 50 or so Chelsea fans got off. Hilarious. Tonight is what going to football can be about. Fabulous.
Excellent summary of the game TFTB. We were just superb tonight and the atmosphere was fantastic. Another glory night under the floodlights.
Last night was a good night for football with us beating Manure and Bournemouth beating Chavski. It shows that honest hard work , heart and passion can beat the evil of unlimited money, which threatens the soul of the game. Shame WBA couldn't get something at Citeh otherwise it would have been a superb night.
