I didn't see any. Tend to agree with Archers Rd - we did show fight in the second half but boy that opening 15 - 20 minutes was as bad as the first half against Leicester. A better team might have been 2 or 3 up at half time. On paper, the team did not look that bad but Romeu, Davis and Tadic all well off the pace. Carillo looked like he could be part of what we've been missing but it won't work if you play him as a lone striker, he needs Long or Gabby to run onto his layoffs. It will take a while for them all to get used to his positioning but he should start on Saturday IMO. There is no such thing as an easy game and having fallen behind and the crowd starting to show their frustration, they did well to get back into it. We do seem to do better against the bigger sides. Frustrating to see us allowing Brighton get under our skin which resulted in some cheap free kicks. Oh, by the way - good substitutions!
I'm not blind to the reality of our position. But I can still see the positives, and prefer to focus on those.
Disagree, we should never be playing 3 cm/DM at home to relegation rivals... Made even worse when JWP is one of the front 3. It was just embarrassing really and showed our lack of intent to get at them from the first whistle.
Just cool it St. K. You came very close to a ban tonight so watch your language. We’re all angry about the situation, it’s not just you, so let’s stick together, OK?
Fair enough that's perfectly understandable. Don't understand where you're getting the plural from tonight though
Dude would this have been possibly better sent as a PM? Do you really need to let the forum know? Have already been spoken to by Mods.
