8 points separate 9th place from 20th in the PL. Perhaps we could expand the Championship to 35 clubs next year, keep all the dross in one place.

I have no idea if the standard is comparable, but as Goss never really played for us I have zero idea of whether he’s any good.

 

I was at a Scottish Championship game today (Morton v Dunfermline) and that was probably comparable to mid-table League 2. Scottish Premier League teams would struggle in our league, except Celtic who would be in that group of 12 teams in the Premier League just fighting to stave off relegation. I'm just hoping Goss learns a.lot from his time up here and takes his opportunities when he comes back for pre-season and prove to Ollie (or whoever is in charge) that he was worth the punt when we bought him from Man Utd.
