I could hardly believe that. It must have been easier to score but at the moment, it just isn't going in the net!!!!!!!!!

I'm still wondering about that shot. Would it be a goal if Dicko didn't touch at all?

Or, alternatively, just how poor a finisher is Dicko?

It has to be one of the worst misses of all time.

That's not right Ernie, the ball was fired across at pace, the keeper got a touch and it simply hit Dicko on the top of the head...nothing he could do about it. On another day it would have deflected in off his backside but we're not getting the breaks at the moment.

Centre forward heads over the bar whilst sat on his arse on the goal line.

Any which way he's not covering himself with glory.

I was dead in line with it in E10 and if it was a bad miss i'd say so, if the keeper hadn't got a touch it would have been an easy finish but the slight touch took it away, the ball was travelling at pace Grosicki really fired it across.

Second half? Grosicki took over the role and was far more positive. Irvine looked disconnected from the game and devoid of any attacking instinct, regardless of LM or CM.

I can only believe Aina was switched for a reason (Mazuch moved Tomori?)- but he was clumsy and poor in possession - regardless of of position he had a poor game.

As I said, Tomori, was light in the tackle, but assured on the ball and constantly looking to release an attack. Dawson is back in form and his chosen partner at CB was a popular and credible choice (0-0). So if he plays do you drop Tomori?

I’m not giving Adkins a clean slate, of course there are things you can criticise, but even with the criticism that seems inevitable, we had more than enough opportunity to win that game and it was the players, the team, who never won it.

Their objective was to get us relegated? That explains why slutsky got the boot, for keeping us comfortably above the zone. It all makes sense now.

You’ve answered a different question to the one posed and don’t seem to know where everyone normally plays. Aina and Tomori were playing where they always play (at least under Adkins), only the cup game on Saturday saw Tomori dropped and Aina played on the right.

    Its square pegs though.
Left side, every opponent knows we have no left footer in the whole team. We have no option but to come inside. Early season, Aina looked vulnerable defending but great going forward. On the left side, we've lost one of the few attacking threats. Right side, Tomori looks classy, but he's a ****ing centre back, naturally he isn't going to overlap or support Bowen. Bowen doesn't really provide width. Anyone defending against an just defend the penalty box. That's why we are struggling. I cant believe we don't appear to be rectifying the squad imbalance.
