Not really. As others have said, he'll be offered decent money and a longer contract at his home town club. He'd have considered the deal whatever state we are in.

Letting Dawson leave is probably the worst bit of transfer business we have done this century if true. Sure there have been others to rival or even better it but the timing and position we are in makes it so.
I wouldn't blame Dawson one bit, in fact most of them must be praying they get a chance to get away from the circus , But he shouldn't be given a chance to have a say and any advances blocked immediately
