I thought we were after the well known scotch pair Ben Doon and Phil McRevis.

With Mazuch injured , and some guy that Barnsley fans aren't bothered about losing , this would be mental , even if he past his best

I like Dawson but will he be such a big miss?

His big wages might free up another opportunity. Well, in normal conditions it would.

    Not really.

As others have said, he'll be offered decent money and a longer contract at his home town club.

He'd have considered the deal whatever state we are in.

    From HDM website

    Dawson to go?
Nottingham Forest are trying to push through a deal to sign Michael Dawson.

This isn’t a joke or fake news, it’s actually happening.

City don’t want to sell the player, who is out of contract at the end of the season, but there’s a big offer on the table.

They are also reporting a 12m bid in for Bowen from Brighton.

    Rubbish.
not his hometown club but I get your point.
Really though he should stay here and see it out this season.

He was great last night.. His problem this season has been trying to teach players who think they can defend, but can't!!!

His home town is Leyburn. Started his career at Forest though (as did all the Dawson boys).

Letting Dawson leave is probably the worst bit of transfer business we have done this century if true.
Sure there have been others to rival or even better it but the timing and position we are in makes it so.

That's right, give the lad a chance. Words fail me on the negativity expressed here.

I wouldn't blame Dawson one bit, in fact most of them must be praying they get a chance to get away from the circus , But he shouldn't be given a chance to have a say and any advances blocked immediately

Wouldn't surprise me if Ehab has been ringing round offering deals on players.. this really would be 'ripping the heart out of the club', the last bit and Bowen to rub it in..

I’ve been waiting patiently with my, what the kids have named, “***** lens” for it to show itself from behind the clouds.

I’m just on a waz break.
