Okay, desperately trying to find some positives with the line up; answer: crack open the duty free Bombay Sapphire and sink myself into a happy sophicic state of happiness...and await the cruel reality of tomorrow...
I guess i'm the only person okay with that formation? Davis was my Motm at the weekend, Prowse had to start, Tadic had to start. Pellegrino said Carrillo wasn't up to speed at the weekend and long has performed better than Gabbi recently. everything else is the standard team.
Not going to lie I was really pumped until I saw that team. Now I just hope he knows what he’s doing. For the 20 somethingth time. Anyway come on boys let’s do this!
Maybe Quincy deal fell apart when he asked 'so boss, how would you use me in the ilne up?' MP2 'In the line up?? No no, you're on the bench for if Davis gets injured'
Only thing I think for most people is no Boufal or Carrillo. The rest of the team is one we would all pretty much pick. Carrillo has been here 5 days or so now and trained fully, so if you're not going to ease him in at home, when do you do it?
Ffs give them a bloody chance, they haven’t even kicked off. You ever make a habit of blowing your beans too early?
That seems a pretty defence minded team . If there is a game we should go all out for the win, this is it. Hoping there is a plan
Me too. Thought 2-0 ever since me and the boy went Sat and saw us beat Watford. I think we actually played well in that game, and people could be more understanding of a few nervous moments and late pressure from a side chasing the game. Enjoy the game mate, I’m disappointed I couldn’t get there tonight...
Hope we get no injuries that force changes, as I always feel as though they are a waste of substitutions, especially when it is a defender. Quite like the thought of Boufal, Gabbiadini and Carrillo all coming on together, to put the game to bed by keeping the ball at their end of the pitch, instead of ours.
Sigh. Too many midfielders and not enough creativity. We shouldn't be playing 3 central midfielders against a relegation rival at home. Ah well on way to the ground now... Let's play our part everyone. Up the ****ing Saints.
this team's strong enough to beat brighton. hoping all these changes are to prepare us to go all-out for west brom on saturday
