I don't think Silva did talk to the Pozzos - just said what he wanted in public which was part of the problem. Agreed we need a defender and striker though. Not even sure if the young Belgian lad is for now or the future..
A big problem in wanting all these signings is the squad places... Sure we players now but in a month when maybe quite a few are back, there's going to be a lot of people doing nothing, picking up decent wages. We have 6/7 CBs alone - so unless we can get rid of any (which we won't as most are injured) then we would just have too many. Same with Midfielders as soon as they are back Also, how much more can we afford to spend this season. We must have spent around £50-55m in the summer, plus all the wages on top, so is there much left in the kitty (until we can sell anyone...)

And now that move is off too!! Due to the difference in time zone (England, Turkey), Okaka would not be able to arrive in time for his medical and sign the contract.
