what about Gerrards slip? surely that was more unforgiveable? Aspas is actually a very good player, shame he didn't get a chance at liverpool.
He had banked up a lot of forgivness. He did get a chance, he just played like a dick, some just don't handle the pressure well and are better off staying at a certain level.
It just didn't work out for him -it happens all the time. Good luck to the guy as far as I'm concerned.
I agree. He came did his best and it just wasn't good enough so he moved on. Perhapps Booby is suggesting he's good enough now and he might be right but there is a question regarding the mentality of the player, no matter how good he is now he could move to a bigger club and just not handle the pressure.
he had 14 games in 2 years (**** knows how many were 15 minute cameos). Some people just don't get a chance (see KDB, salah etc) to show what they are about. Having 15 mins here and there and playing every 7th game isn't a chance. **** knows what goes on in training but we all know that isn't the barometer. Rodgers never fancied firms and he only played him intermittently preferring baloteskey and bentertesky
i edited but anyway, lets not cry over spilt milk. Firmino played how he looked when he first came (like a lesbien and not the butch type). Now look at him, he's hard as nails.
He's always been like that, good in the air and would back into CB's and be a nuisance, it's just because he's adding goals and assists that people are now taking notice of his all round game but he always put a shift in.
he's always worked hard and had the technical ability but he was powder puff before. Always falling over and getting knocked out the way. He's far better at holding the ball up and using his strength than he was before
