Great result. Performance was ok - it was encouraging because we were at least trying to play into the box and not resorting to annoying crosses as we’ve seen in last two games.

Henderson looked good and Can was excellent. All of our midfielders got on the ball and a lot of touches - compare that to a Gini who treats the ball like a hot potato.

Robbo was good again but he needs to work on this final ball. Always gets in good positions but final ball let him down.

Karius didn’t have a lot to do but he handled everything well. Hopefully he can build on this.

Much needed win after a disastrous week at the club. Great opportunity for us to put daylight between us and Spurs now.

    they were ****.

    we applied.ouraelves a bit.

the.same I'm.dodgy issues arose but they were so bad it was unseen

    1. Matip not clearing it. tapped it a few times and caused issues.
    2. karius is dodgy. he Palmed one down in box. one handy catch doesn't make him good.
    3. back 4 start messing with it deeper and deeper. no leadership to pull them forward.
    4. Henderson started to wander all over ignoring his real duty.
    5. manes touch was frankly woeful
    6. can only applies himself. it was not stellar at all.

the work rate to win ball was higher
that was about it... that's what made the difference imo

Nor did he condemn Lallana or praise Moreno. Now I know neither played bit that doesn't usually stop him!

It was a much needed win and it looks like Klopps bezzie let him stop the rot <laugh>

Was good to see Hendo play well and Can was deservedly MOTM.

Mane is extremely frustrating at the moment, I get you go through tough patches but why do some players become incapable of even controlling the ball? Really strange, every second touch was a tackle!

Jurgen Klopp defended his decision to bench record signing Virgil van Dijk for Liverpool's 3-0 win at Huddersfield Town as "completely normal".
Van Dijk joined from Southampton for £75 million at the start of the month, a move that made the Netherlands international the most expensive defender of all time.
Although the 26-year-old enjoyed a dream debut, heading a late winner against Merseyside rivals Everton in the FA Cup, he was taken out of the firing line by Klopp following the back-to-back defeats against Swansea City and West Brom.
Joel Matip and Dejan Lovren were reunited at the heart of defence and their manager maintains Van Dijk's Anfield career will be developed at a pace that pays no mind to his hefty fee.
"It's a completely normal – they've played longer together than Virgil has played with them," Klopp told a post-match news conference.
"Southampton play a completely different style to us, plus the fitness thing. It's clear, in half a year, Virgil will be a completely different player to last week or next week. That's completely normal.
"It's a very important position and very important that it is really tuned between the parts and stuff like that. For today, it was simply a physical thing and that's it."

You'll be clobbered for saying things like that. Although it is simple reality. Once Spurs are out of the way our 4th place and CL for next season is secured.
