Seems strange that we just played on Saturday, feels like I've been waiting weeks for this game?
Hope the football gods are with us tonight, uts. Stoked/scared in equal measure.

Family visiting and have tommorow off as a consequence; so l have no excuse not to watch a match starting local time at 11.45pm... however, not sure my nerves could stand it - especially after the Swans winning last night...

You can walk on water as far as I'm concerned if it's still your turn to do the match thread. Just make sure it's a wino_O

It looks bad and there is no denying it has been a really poor season. HOWEVER, we're five points off tenth which isn't too far away.

It all depends on the results this week of course but it is more than achievable to push up the league to where we are used to being.

    How's this happen?

Poor management from top to bottom but we have gone over this time and time again...lets suck it up and get on with supporting the lads and hope MP starts getting things right soon

Yes, it was kind of rhetoric. The concern with being only 5pts off 10th is just how tight it is. Nobody is cut adrift, 3 of 10 teams could reasonably go down. This could be one hell of a dog fight.

    I started Veganuary yesterday.

Well, I had lunch in Planet Organic anyway.

I was also thinking of going vegetarian for Feb actually. Alcohol back, meat out. Dunno why I thought of doing it, but it beats challenging myself to run marathons etc :)

If I could afford to employ a vegetarian chef for a month, I'd definitely do it. That's what it would take though, because it takes a lot of effort to keep a veggie diet interesting.

I can't remember the last meal I have eaten that didn't have some form of meat in it. Mainly chicken or turkey as I probably eat that at least 10 times a week, but yeah eating just veg or salad is my idea of hell.

The other half is a veggie, so I am a bit sick of cooking two meals. Yes, I do all the cooking in the house and she does the decorating. We are a 'new' house :)

I've been doing Veganuary. 31 days with no meat or dairy. Suprisingly, I've found it really easy and feel much much better for it too.

Edit: Oops, thought this was the off topic thread.

My mate's missus has been veggie for years. He just capitulated and accepted that he wouldn't be eating meat at home. Four kids have never eaten meat, and all look remarkably healthy

You should see my mate scarf down a full English at the caff though <ok>

Takes planning and care to get what you need from a vegetarian diet...how people manage on just fruit I have no idea. I eat less meat than I used to as I actually like veg, but a few ounces of meat a couple of times a week makes a good balanced diet. A small amount of meat is all you need to make a mainly vegetarian diet healthy....I wonder why vegetarians haven't realised it.<laugh>
