Yeah, kids individual tastes can be a bugger at times and the aniseed taste gets them later in life. I used to do a starter sausage pasta on my menu with four different types of sausage in a thick tomato and honey based ragu with fresh fennel with penne.
Wrap with peri peri chicken, shredded lettuce, half an avocado and some betroot and mint dip. Goats cheese lasagne for tea. Will prob have a jacket spud with it.
Tortilla corn wraps with chicken marinaded in chili oil, pimenton picante, and lime juice. Home made Guacamole.
That's my go-to when I'm out, it's great innit. Did you get it served in the tulip pint glass? They serve it in TGI Fridays on tap.
This was in second closest pub to my house. As a rule, it's a **** pub so I never go. Turns out they've got great beers!
There aren't any good pubs where I live, the best place is Weatherspoons. Have to drive to Merthyr to find a decent place.
If I moved back there I’d have to have a decent pub within walking distance. Used to love walking there with the kids and the dogs back in the day. Can’t be doing with that one pint and that’s my lot cos I gotta drive.
