Didn't really have a lot to do. Was spot on with the Arsenal tackle when it looked like Clucas was one on one, otherwise quiet. Which is what you always hope for I suppose when someone is reffing.

As for Swansea, this was further evidence of the extraordinary turnaround under Carlos Carvalhal, who has lost only once in his eight games in charge and somehow lifted Swansea out of the bottom three before the transfer window closes. - Guardian

'Is there a Dr in the house?'

"A team that was almost death (makes oxygen-gasping noise) almost ready to go to the cemetery. But I said in our analogy but we were not in intensive care but we were in the hospital. Maybe now we are near to go out of hospital. We still have our problems. The doctor still has to look after us. We are not far away to be out of hospital. This is something very good to us

Had to have a drink and catch my breath after that. What a result, we had to defend for our life against Liverpool but the Arsenal defence was shaking every time we broke. It could do easily have been 4-1. We are definitely back in the mix now and some teams like Huddersfield sliding badly

In just 5 games, Carvalhal has now managed the same amount of wins as clement did in his 18 games... and only one point less. What’s even more baffling is that in 13 more games under clement, we scored only 4 more goals. Just goes to show how much a negative set up can affect a team.

Well we are at last on the up, and thanks to Carlos who has been a breath of fresh air, after the negative game plan of clueless Clement, who should have gone sooner, Carlos surely deserves to be backed in the Transfer window, but will the Muppets in the boardroom get their act together?........<ok>

Piers Morgan, Herbert Chapman, Frank McLintock, Tony Adams, Martin Keown......... Your boys took a hell of a beating <laugh>

What a performance! Strong defensively and dangerous on the break.

Just shows what can be done with a Manager/Coach who is comfortable in his own ability to build a team and who can analyse the opposition so that he can set up his team to neutralise and dominate - indeed, we could have won 4-1 or 5-1.

Whereas last week we defended and rode our luck, this week we were by far the better team.

The Arsenal Directors' box was full of glum faces - poor old Pat Rice, I felt almost sorry for him hobbling about on his crutch: he gave me a stinking look when I was celebrating our third goal!

Thought that the back 5 all played well - Naughton is a different player under Carlos.

Ki and Fer did well in midfield as did Dyer who battled well, although he did give the ball away a few times,

Ayew must have run a marathon tonight but, what about Clucas? Now, he really is a different player under Carvalhal. Carlos is playing him in his best position, and is using him to best effect - both defensively and as a potent attacking threat.

Surely the Yanks will now spend some money before the window closes in 24 hours - that said, I saw Levein before the game with what looked like 2 bags of goodies from the Club Shop. Hope he didn't get a discount!

    Kaplan was also there tonight.

Time for them to splash the cash.......<cheers>

Sam Clucas has only had three shots on target this season in the Premier League........

    All against Arsenal.........

    He has scored them all......

We are getting better every game we play with carlos and instead of giving him until the end of the season we should tie him to the club with a 5 year contract or someone will offer him a deal that he cant turn down.......Give the man a good contract now or face the consequences of losing him in the summer.....

Almost forgot to mention Carlos' great piece of Man-Management - he took Clucas off with the game won and only a minute or so to go so that Sam could receive the applause and cheers of the crowd.

What a fantastic boost to the young man's confidence

.... and what great nous from Carlos<applause>

Didn't Clement get Manager of the Month in his first full month?
