I think Barnsley are thinking the same with going for Matt Mills to replace this bloke. Can't We just go for Mills instead of Barnsley getting an upgrade on what they have and dumping their cast offs on us?
I'm pretty certain that Barnsley have recently been taken over.. December I believe .. which means new owners and a willingness to spend I presume. Unfortunately we have Muppets at the helm of this club who are planning an exit route and are not willing to spend anything if they can get away with it.
They were taken over by a consortium including Chien Lee, who tried to buy us before Ehab sacked it off.
Don’t sign Matt Mills he’s herendous! I think it’s a no brainier if McDonald signs and Mills goes to Barnsley!
Amazed that we have not hit the loan market but I guess in the Allams world 24 hours is a very long time.
No Meyler or Dio in the squad... leaving? Alan Nixon on Twitter saying Barnsley want a striker of ours in a swap deal for MacDonald. Dio? Makes sense, as we're not spending any money that way.
Welcome to deadline day. A day on which we’ll probably swap a striker who spends half his life on his arse, for a centre back who isn’t fit to play. At the end of a month in which we haven’t scored a single league goal.
Apparently after seeing this gif, Lee Darnborough is trying to find the agents of anyone/thing in the video. If anyone can help please email a psychiatrist ASAP
I always book deadline day as a holiday from work..the anticipation...excitement...the signings...rumours.......this January ill just be decorating.
Let’s see at the end of the Window if Nigel still thinks everyone at the club is pulling in the same direction
AARONS IN HULL TALKS Newcastle winger Rolando Aarons is in talks with Hull City over a loan move until the end of the season. The 22-year-old has seen his opportunities limited this season because of injury and has fallen down the pecking-order at St James’ Park. As we reported earlier this morning, Henri Saivet is also on his way out - he’s arrived in Turkey ahead of a loan move to Sivasspor.
