Lets hope so when need a left back, I know Ryan Taylor has done well but he's not a left back and may well end up having to cover in other positions as the season progresses.

    http://www.rmcsport.fr/editorial/176450/b-lacombe-cissokho-nous-pose-pas-mal-de-problemes/

After the qualification obtained in the Champions League against the Rubin Kazan (1-1), Bernard Lacombe said the situation in his fullback who is desperate to leave the OL: "Currently, Aly Cissokho we ask a lot of problems because that every day he comes to ask us to leave. That would be annoying a few days before the end of transfer window it goes. After Newcastle made an offer. But the problem is that the English club gives half of what it cost us. If it's like that, Aly will stay home, "said Councillor Jean-Michel Aulas to RMC Sport.

Got a link? Or what TV or radio station was it?

If true I think that'd be a good enough bid for them, as it's probably got add-on's attached.

If it's rubbish then damn you for raising my hopes!

That would help quell the anger. But who then do we have to sell to free up money for a decent striker if this is how we roll?

Lacombe: "...The problem is that they (NUFC) offered half what we paid for him. If that's how it's going to be then he'll stay with us."

This transfer window reminds me of starting a new FM2011 game as us, sell sell sell before I buy buy buy (hopefully the second bit happens).

What's annoyed me is, we've met their valuation, but they're still not letting him go because it's half what they paid.
