... but would he? ... he is a far better (and more natural) finisher than Raheem Sterling ... if Sane is fit again who knows? .... but Sane tends to play on the left whilst Mahrez the right ... I'm not surprised they have come in for him ... if you watched him week in, week out, you'd realise just how good he is ...
different players, Sterling can't dribble as well as mahrez or shoot from distance or head. However, sterling has learnt what pep wants and he's always making darting runs in behind and i would say has more energy and is faster than mahrez which i think helps beat the busses a bit more (the off the ball movement). He doesn't like his players dribbling too much or taking pot shots from long range
http://www.skysports.com/football/n...mahrez-hands-in-transfer-request-to-leicester Not surprised really, no real shock that he wants away, hes been saying it since summer. If Man City had offered £50m in the summer he'd be there already, but seeming they have just signed someone unproven in the prem for £60m, why should we accept anything less than £75m?
We shouldn't Wizard - if he goes I'll be surprised if it's for less than £65m unless there is some sort of written agreement ...
Reports stating £60M well below our valuation and wouldn't be considered. Hope that's true, also its inevitable that he'll leave us I was dearly hoping it wouldn't be this window. I thought it was too good that it had all gone quiet
This is a nightmare. Simply say no till the summer is my stance - you don’t sell your best players in January unless you need to. Inpossible to replace within this time scale
Can see Ben Arfa coming here on loan happening very quickly. Also can see us milking Man City for all that they are worth and getting £75m+
3rd bid from Man City believed to be 55m. Go **** yourselves!!!! Stick another 30m on it and we might start to take you seriously.
Cheeky ****ers aren’t they after making us pay £25mill for Nacho who they didn’t want an a buy back clause on him. Test their resolve by voiding that buy back
Will test them definitely that. They clearly only want Mahrez as a stop gap for these injuries and not long term. Would they risk potentially losing out on either a profit on Nacho, getting him back or him going to a competitor. Would be interesting
Mahrez has put in another transfer request apparently http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/42875848 Is a moot point if Man City don't meet our price.
A move which 'sources' report has seriously p'd off a number of team mates. If he just didn't turn up, as reported I'm not surprised they're not happy with him and have every right to be angry.
Increased offer of £65M submitted with a player swap included. No idea who the other player is. If it's Kevin De Bruyne I'd consider it!
I'd be more dubious about the 'sources' tbh ... covers a multitude of sins ... or, to be more accurate... fabrication
