For those of you who were wondering when the next bit of Tory sleaze was going to arrive, I have some good news: Andrew Lansley, Peter Lilley, and Andrew Mitchell have been caught by a Sunday Times & Channel 4 sting offering to sell off information of the Britait negotiations to the highest bidder http://uk.businessinsider.com/cabin...-brexit-information-to-chinese-company-2018-1
In my world, MPs would not be allowed to work for businesses that related to any of their prior ministerial posts, or for political lobbying firms, for a period of 5 years after leaving the Commons. Under pain of custodial sentence.
But then they wouldn't be able to privatise everything before joining the companies that they sold it all to. Future BUPA director Jeremy Hunt would not be impressed.
Mrs Trump's trips to and from Washington,D.C. in 2017 have amounted to 675,000 dollars. I suppose she fly's from DC to New York via Sydney,Australia. Nice if you can get it!.....or is she getting as far away as possible from her cheeseburger!!!?
Free hand of the market! She applies it to her social life though, to be fair to her. At least she's consistent.
Last week the Dire Leader set up a dedicated unit to combat "fake news" This week it became apparent that, in spite of the headline-grabbing announcement, the unit doesn't actually exist Meanwhile, in Trumpland... please log in to view this image ****ing hell...
Trump Russia: Republicans accused of tampering with memo on FBI - http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/world-us-canada-42902537 A Trump-supporter doctoring an official document to discredit a potentially damaging allegation?? Shurely shom mishtake!!
Matt Hancock, the Culture Minister (and the ever-growing number of departments that get bundled into it...) has launched his own app. It took all of an hour before it was noticed that, for those people who could get the app to work in the first place, the app and the developers can gain access to all users' photos regardless of whether they gave permission to or not. Also, it's worth pointing out this is the second time the Tories have aped Louise Mensh in the space of a week, given she set up her own social media platform in mid-2012...only for it to be closed down just eight months later due to lack of userbase, spiralling costs, and quite remarkably the co-founder couldn't stand working with Louise Mensch due to her being obnoxious, controlling and not having a ****ing clue.
I buy non-American weapons and virtue signal. That's a rather expensive Israeli rifle: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/IWI_Tavor
Finsbury Park attacker Darren Osborne found guilty by unanimous verdict - and within minutes Tommy Robinson is asking his boneheaded followers for money so he can sue to police for spreading false and malicious rumours that there was any sort of link between Osborne and Robinson or the EDL. False and malicious rumours such as Osborne exchanging e-mails with Robinson just days before the attack, then screengrabbing those e-mails and sharing them online for the entire world to see...
So PL darts is back tonight . But without the walk on girls who have been banned. They are no longer free to carry on with work they choose to do because some middle class feminists feel what they do is degrading to women. The feminists are apparently offended by seeing them on TV (which presumes bizarrely they watch televised darts). These girls walk on stage fully clothed. There only crime is being "glamorous". Glamorous women apparently degrade other women and shouldn't be allowed to work in this role. Of course, they don't have any issues with arty size six models posing in a state of undress. They don't seem to want to ban Beyonce or Little Mix gyrating about the stage in skimpy outfits. Or glamorous film stars. Nor do they have difficulty with a whole generation of girls and young women posing and pouting for endless glamorous selfies - and posting them all over the internet. These women musn't degrade other women. Or not these feminists anyway - and what offends them is what counts. Or maybe it's just that they are not easy target like walk on girls. It's a bad day for feminism when pious middle class women can use their politics to prevent other women from earning a living because they're "glamorous". But who dares to challenge them?
On the plus side it has all but eliminated the pay gap in Formula One, as you can't have a pay gap if you don't have any female employees...
The organisers of the darts and F1, maybe? No idea why they've rolled over for people that have no interest in their products. I don't mean women, as there are obviously female fans of both, but that's not where the objections have come from.
