Been to quite a few gills games over the years away ones mainly. Very small support but a hardcore amount that are very good to be fair though. Old school too, in my 15+ years attending football matches they're the only fans I've heard sing 'celery' which was wayyyy before my time He's delusional though I remember around 2004 he bet me 50 quid that they'd reach the Prem within 5 years with them in the championship (div 1 at time)... 2 relegations in 3 seasons meant I won with two years to spare I was just considering going along to stand in the away end at Fratton n cheer a random team on against the skates Tbh though I don’t really get on with him cos he's a **** so might not bother.
What was the name of the Gills fan who used to come on here a lot a few years ago, I’ve been racking my brains?
http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-scotland-42901550 A footballer in Scotland talks about being taunted by fans after he came out about his mental health problems. Even worse than that, opponents taunted him about suicide during the game. Truly dreadful.
My 'local' team being the only league club in kent (Charlton don't count) Many mates who are Gills fans and see them home or away a few times a season. League 1 football on the whole is pretty poor but a good day out. I remember back in 80's went to watch them 2 home games running, one they beat Southend 8-1, then chesterfield 10-0. Happy days and although I cheer them on, I really don't care that much if they win or not. Don't feel the passion of supporting saints. I remember the celery days lol. If you are ever down this way for a game, will have to meet up for a drink
Such a joke. Arsene Wenger says that money is destroying competition. Arsene, I knew that way back before the Premier League was formed. Has it taken until now for you to work it out.?

https://talksport.com/football/form...d-koeman-set-be-named-new-netherlands-manager Koeman set to be named as Netherlands boss. Was always going to happen....though I suspect a bit earlier than he planned.
Not for the first time this season, Sevilla were on the receiving end of a thrashing, nothing unusual in that save that in two of those games it has been at the hands of teams they should easily beat, Real Betis, and now today 5 at Eibar. Very strange as they disposed of Atletico Madrid playing greeat football in the Copa del Rey the other week. They go from the brilliant to the absolutely absurd!!!! Hope they are saving themselves to turn it on against Manchester United.
Talking of odd teams, why has it taken Fuham half a season to get going? The way they are playing they are quite capable of chasing down Villa, Cardiff and Derby to get second place.
