Something more than the obvious is wrong.

Charnley's clearly ****ing useless - why is Rafa still talking as if they're buds?

    62 - 77 - 82. No, not a combination, but Rafa's substitute times, every game.

****ing PARDEW and West Brom. Holy ****. I didn;t think I could feel more miserable about NUFC, then BLAMMO.

Really? No manager has more pull than loads of extra £££ for signing elsewhere.

It's pretty ridiculous to blame any NUFC manager for repeatedly abject transfer windows when the story has been on repeat since Mike bought the club.

I'm not sure he is worth the £5m per year. Not sure he isn't either. I am sure that we would continue to be no better and probably worse under any other manager with Mike in charge.

These journos haven't a ****ing clue whats going on, hilarious. Pure ****ing guess work. Its Newcastle, I mean WBA, I mean er...hang on...

If we have been in for him and he goes to WBA who are 19th, can't sign anyone because of FFP supposedly, and have Pardew, that is a real embarrassment for Rafa/Newcastle.

If they have FFP issues then £120k a week on Sturridge will hit them hard surely?

This and then some. Allegedly Rafa spoke to him personally, but 'cos he has family in Birmingham he's moving there. Notice how his family in Birmingham haven't had much of an impact on his movements so far....Man City - Chelsea - Bolton (loan) - Liverpool - West Brom.

A new low? I very much think so.

I don't believe we want Sturridge. Its probably just a ploy to smoke out Feyenoord to release Jorgensen for a sensible fee. If they think they are gonna lose out on 15m they might think "**** that". 20m for someone with his record is high.

Ah, but here's the weird thing Albert; if they go down, the impact will be even worse. This is what most clubs do - recognise they could be in deep **** when they go down. What we do is the opposite - we plan to get relegated so the blow is softened. Then we ignore the fact we've just lost another £100m.

'Cos all of a sudden Charnley's a negotiator?! Nah, this is very much a case of tried & failed.

Feyenoord will be no worse off waiting til the Summer. His goals aren't going to dry up in fcking Holland!!

Are they gonna get 20m at any stage though? He is off to the world cup. Who did they get, France, Peru and Aussies? If he has a **** world cup they can forget 20m. Even if he has a good one they are not certain of 20m.

I must admit I don't care what we buy players for generally. However things are so tight for us financially, I think we need to make sure we spend it wisely. We've spunked too much up the wall since we went down for my liking.

For £120k a week Sturridge can do one for me like. That's £4m in wages alone just to the end of the season. We should be looking to pay that for 3 players wages never mind this sicknote!

Good lad - now you're thinking like Mike and Lee. And that's why we struggle to make signings of worth.

Tim Cahill having a medical at Millwall....I'd even take him the way things are at the mo. At least he knows where the onion bag is unlike Joselu.

I can’t see Liverpool letting him go without the club paying all his wages as a minimum.

I’d expect that ideally they’d get a loan fee and his wages covered.

There is no way on this planet we pay all or even most of his 120k wages! And even if we would by the time we ****ed around going in low and then going back with other offers he would have gone elsewhere.

I mean it took 2months to get Lejeune in and all we had to do was bid his min release fee!

Also I can’t imagine Feyenoord putting up with much more they will need to get a striker in too and if I was them I wouldn’t be keen on leaving it to the last min. Jorgensen’s value won’t decrease he will no doubt continue to score goals and if he goes to the World Cup and scores a couple there his value will only increase.

Deals need to get and mike and co need to stop ****ing around, when I heard our first bid for Jorgensen was £14m I felt embarrassed and I dont know anyone from Feyenoord!!!!

Transfer deadline day can do one as far as I’m concerned cause we won’t get anyone and then we will all have to deal with the reality that is relegation!

    *rant over*

****s me off that so many idiots on Twitter somehow believe these are "Ashley tactics". Like he's even remotely interested or close to these deals. The sooner everyone turns on Charnley the better.

I agree - of course it isn't an Ashley tactic. He is just continuing to run the club as he always has - on a complete shoestring for the sole purpose of his own financial benefit.

Yeah Charnley is woeful. If we succeeded in pushing him out then we could take the massive step back up to Llambias or similar. With that done we could then enjoy more hope-devoid transfer windows and neverending transfer sagas for quality like Erdinc and Gomis.
