    UEFA has confirmed that Trabzonspor have replaced fellow Turkish side Fenerbahce in the Champions League group stage. Fenerbahce were withdrawn by the Turkish federation earlier today because of an ongoing match-fixing investigation.

    He had a better than 3 goals every 4 games ratio for Ajax. (81 goals in 110 appearances).

    When you take into account that that was spread out over 4½ years and was no "one-season fluke" - that is an amazing tally. Even if the Dutch league isn't as good as the Premier League- how many strikers have a 3 in 4 ratio? Usually a goal every other game is a decent tally.

    Suarez doesn't just score either- he provides... brilliant player.

    I don't know that I'm anxious for Arsenal to be dumped out. I want English success so that we keep our 4 places in the Champions League for years to come- and of all the teams in the CL from England- I'd rather it be Arsenal to win... not that they're going to... but even qualifying for group stages hsa to help our nations coefficient doesn't it?
