    Non committal about Promes still pushing (which probably means we will sign him in a few hours going by last weeks press conference <laugh>). Doesn't know the Spurs player. Not been told anything about Manolo and he wants to keep him.

    I know this is a chance for a victory and an important game for us, but reckon we shouldn't risk Bertie if it could end up with him being out longer. As for Carrillo, better to put him on the subs bench....he has to gauge the nature of the EPL and get used to his team mates and style of Saints. Can't risk him having a couple of poor games and becoming the scapegoat for the fans.

    I think if he's fit, and MP2 thinks he's right for the match, he should play. It's not exactly as if he'll be kicking a bigger goal scoring threat out of the team. I'd say we can't risk leaving him out just in case he doesn't perform and the more dense of our fan base start getting on his back. Best way to learn the league and his team mates is to play games!
