http://www.bbc.com/sport/football/42724313 Gap Result Lawro Poet Vuj Hull v Nottingham Forest 6 2-1 0-1 2-0 2-1 Well that copy and paste worked out well. Lawro got it wrong of course, but both of his guests predicted a win for us with Vuj being spot on. (No, I'd never heard of his guests before either)
Ye their player did a diving header for no reason really. Then we got the exact same thing and he didn't give it.
That's how we saw it too, the City players obviously picked up on it as well because the ref went on to give them a bit of a lecture when they complained about the unpunished high foot. Overall though he was a bit better than most refs we've seen this season.
Diomande fell on his arse so many times it was laughable. His balance on the ball is garbage. Looking at detail at his studs he does look as though he does have fairly long ones so he cant use that as an excuse. Just seen the good chance at end of first half. Absolutely shocking control and unwillingness to take the easier LF option to shoot. Defensively his work was solid.
I have a feeling we'll avoid one of the bigger teams tomorrow.... Coventry at home perhaps. Based on their 8k at MK yesterday, we'd have to give them the North and East Stands...
From their forum: "Forest. You are my Forest... Today you made me sad. The inevitable happened, we lost to a **** two Bob struggling ex prem side. Whoaoh, never saw that coming please log in to view this image We reverted back to type. You know about the Football, beyond that I ain't got much to tell you. Hull City is everything that makes me want to quit football and go fly fishing or something, something with some tradition and quality in depth. Their stadium is about as inspiring as a Sunday afternoon at Ikea. Their fans were pathetic"
And again "Also some of our fans seem to think we just need to turn up to beat Hull - in reality they were in the prem last season and have a squad of similar quality to ours. They did seem to be much more up for the game than us but I would happily take Diomande, Dicko, Bowen or Grosicki in our team." I had no idea Diomande posted on these forums...
Particularly since Hector gives you all the risk of stupid penalties but without the blood and thunder.
Hector looked like he was running through treacle, couldn't believe how off the pace and sluggish he was. Dawson, Mazuch and Tomori are all better options.
This is the game I watch Saturday, haven't seen condition to play in like this for many a year. I'm very impressed with Hai number 19 of Vietnam, a real clever player and works hard. If you go to 3.28m he scores a lovely fee kick.
First time I've seen a team change to a completely different strip at halftime, if the PL money men were watching...
