I find it rather surprising that Mr Van Gerwen wants to end the practice of having walk-on girls at darts matches. Very PC I'm sure.
Political correctness gone mad. And at the same time we get women in sport forced down our throats where we don’t want to see them - on the football pitch.
Most women don't want to be harrassed, or seen as just sexual objects. I get that. But if I had to guess, I would guess that the womens' cosmetics industry, the fashion industry, the cosmetic surgery industry and other industries relating to female beauty have never been booming more than they are now. Many women spend huge sums of money just to look more attractive. That is vanity out of all proportion. Perhaps we men should be a little smarter, and just ignore this vanity. Don't pay women compliments related to the way they look. Don't be chivalrous. Don't flirt with them. Don't pander to their vanity. Don't treat women like ladies - just people, equal in all respects.
I think we need to get the view of resident sexpert @baraettmattesvensson He likes over-ripe fruit that fell from the tree long ago...
The only female football presenter that can actually comes across as knowing the game inside and out and presents really well is the young lass on Channel 5 football.
The Club has now rescheduled the Shrewsbury away game; https://www.cafc.co.uk/news/view/5a...re-rearranged-and-free-coach-travel-available Makes for an interesting April; We now play Rotherham United (H) Bristol Rovers (A) Scunthorpe United (H) Shrewsbury Town (A) Portsmouth (A) Blackburn Rovers (H) All six of these teams currently in the top half of the table - four of them currently in the top 6.
Our away game at Blackpool has been rescheduled for Tuesday 13th March according to this... http://www.blackpool.vitalfootball.co.uk/article.asp?a=589561 Charlton have a tough February schedule and a difficult run of games in April, so getting results in March will be essential to keep alive even a slight chance of finishing the season in 6th place.
Looks like even Venkys know how to run a League One Club better than Duchatelet does. October 29th: Charlton ..... played 15 - 30 points, 4th place Blackburn ... played 14 - 24 points, 7th place January 30th: Blackburn ... played 29 - 59 points, 2nd place Charlton ..... played 28 - 46 points, 7th place Sixteen points from our last 13 league games. While Blackburn have taken thirty five from their last 15. Still, at least we have our team back - and our DNA, so I hear.
